The Ten Most Expensive Photographs 2007

Photographs of Andreas Gursky, Cindy Sherman, Hiroshi Sugimoto have been in great demand at auctions last year and the prices for artworks created by the elite of photography have risen again since in the top ten of the most expensive photographs seven come from the year 2007. The boom of contemporary art seems to be closely connected with a rising interest in contemporary photography at auctions last year.
